Being Taught From My Wagering Failures

1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling online or at land based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you start to pay attention to your loss and the anguish settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you become sick in your gut and the more you attempt the quicker you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re ahead, STAY on the UP! When you start to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this method RARELY ever operates. Say you are playing on slots, have a bankroll put aside prior to starting your action. Don’t go over that boundary, regardless how alluring. If you actually succeed, put that in a separate canister. Don’t use your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Head out, regardless if it’s on the net or at a land-based betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, another time.

Remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, do not even start.
